Canon Launch New RF85mm F/1.2L USM Lens For The Perfect Portrait

Canon Marketing Malaysia has today launch the new RF85mm f/1.2L USM portrait prime lens. Prime lenses with an 85mm focal length are usually sough after by both professionals and advanced amateurs for their optimal distance to provide perspective, depth, and a bokeh effect.

The new lens utilizes the wide diameter and short back focus distance of the RF mount to achieve an 85mm lens with a bright aperture of f/1.2. With it, it allows more light to enable you to control light exposure and its 9-blade circular aperture.

With the RF85mm lens, it achiees a minimum focusing distance of 0.85mm and 0.12x maximum magnification, expanding the shooting capability from close-up of people to shooting small objects.

It also features a new control ring, found in new RF lens series. You can assign settigns such as aperture value, shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, and exposure compensation with it.

The new Canon RF85mm f/1.2L USM will be coming here in Malaysia starting from June 2019. As for the pricing of it, it is yet to be confirmed, but fret not. We will update about it once the detail is made available. Till then, stay tuned to Pokde.net.
