Capcom Announces Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 – All Mega Man X Games Included

The folks over at Capcom has officially announced Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2. This includes every single Mega Man X game that has been released thus far for a number of platforms.

Capcom has officially announced Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2. with a brand new trailer. According to Capcom, the game will be launching on July 24th 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. For those of you who aren’t aware, the game is a compilation featuring every single entry in the X series.

Much like the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 announced for the Nintendo Switch earlier this year, this one will be physically packaged as one title and will include 2 separate discs for each collection.

However, if you buy the game physically for the Nintendo Switch, you will receive Legacy Collection 1 on a cartridge and a digital voucher for Legacy Collection 2. Of course, if you are not interested in getting the game physically or you want one compilation over the other, both compilations can be purchased separately

Legacy Collection 1 includes the first 4 installments, Mega Man X Mega Man X2, Mega Man X3, and Mega Man X 4, whereas the 2nd one includes the last 5 titles in the series.

Initially debuting as a spin-off series for Capcom’s iconic blue bomber in 1993, the X series hasn’t seen a new main entry in the franchise since 2004’s X8. Despite being under the radar in recent years, the X series is loved by many and seeing this franchise coming to current-generation platforms has been a long time coming.

As mentioned earlier, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 is slated to launch on July 24th 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. Currently, it’s listed with a price of USD $19.99 for each collection. The Malaysian pricing of the games are still not yet known at the moment but we will reporting on it as soon as information becomes available.
