If you are in the market for some external storage that’s super portable yet stylish, do check out the latest Transcend StoreJet 25C3S. It’s an external hard drive, which means capacious storage without an equally huge price tag. And did I mention this one is really portable?

It measures a mere 9.95mm thin, and weighs 133g light. The aluminium construction of the Transcend StoreJet 25C3S also ensures the safety of the data you entrust it with. The aluminium case here is polished, sandblasted and anodized for a premium look and feel.

To keep up with the times, the StoreJet 25C3S features a USB 3.1 Gen1 (5 Gbps) Type-C interface. Because a lot of recent devices still lack a Type-C port, Transcend still provides a USB Type-C to Type-A cable just for backward compatibility. It is also pre-formatted with the NTFS file system, so it will work with your system right out of the box.

With every purchase of the Transcend StoreJet 25C3S, you will also get Transcend Elite and RecoveRx. The former allows you to manage your files more easily, and even offers 256-bit AES encryption. Meanwhile, RecoveRx on the other hand is a data recovery utility to help you get back your erased files.

Local pricing has yet to be confirmed, but what we do know is that the Transcend StoreJet 25C3S will be available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, and are backed by Transcend’s Three-year Limited Warranty.

Pokdepinion: Looks exactly like their lineup of SSDs, albeit being a little thicker. We would also prefer bulkier external drives, simply because we are quite abusive users. Yes, we do unspeakable things to our drives.
