Corsair is a well known brand in Malaysia, not only because for their gaming peripherals but also their PC components like casings and power supplies. Corsair has just announced the release of its new RMx Series of 80 Plus Gold certified PC power supplies, continuing Corsair’s legacy of delivering superior power to drive today’s most demanding high performance PCs. Boasting 80 Plus Gold efficiency, silent Zero-RPM fan mode, fully modular cables and premium components throughout.

Available immediately in 550W, 650W, 750W, 850W and 1000W capacities, the Corsair RMx series power supplies are 80 PLUS Gold certified and give you extremely tight voltage control, virtually silent operation, and a fully modular cable set. With all Japanese 105°C capacitors, they’re a great choice for high performance PCs where reliability is essential.

The RMx’s custom 140 mm rifle-bearing cooling fan benefits from Corsair’s Zero-RPM Fan Mode, only turning the fan on when necessary and allowing RMx to deliver its power virtually silently at low and medium load levels. Every PSU in the RMx range is backed by Corsair’s comprehensive 7-year warranty.

Suggested Retail Prices:

Corsair RMx 550W – $109.99
Corsair RMx 650W – $119.99
Corsair RMx 750W – $129.99
Corsair RMx 850W – $149.99
Corsair RMx 1000W – $179.99

Pokdepinion : Average DIY PC build will most probably stick to a single GPU solution, which the Corsair RM 650x is good enough for, in my opinion. The Corsair RMx 650W is good enough for a system with a single high-end card and if you are considering to use two graphic cards, at least get a 750W or larger PSU.
