Hey, are you following Corsair’s latest updates in Computex 2015? They announced a new addition to their mechanical keyboard lineup, the Corsair STRAFE. Which Corsair claims to be “the most advanced mono-backlit mechanical gaming keyboard available.” Dang. I also love that they used a new iteration of the Corsair logo on the keyboard. It just looks fantastic. Really caught my eye the first time I laid eyes on it. But wait. There are no dedicated multimedia keys at the top right. It just seems wrong to me.

The Corsair STRAFE, sigh I mistyped it for STARFE for more than 3 times already and now its making me STARFE-ving. This mechanical keyboard comes in two options of mechanical switches, RED and BLUE with gold contacts for fast, precise key presses from the German manufacturer Cherry. For the lighting, the Corsair STRAFE is equipped with fully programmable red backlighting. USB pass-through and 100% anti-ghosting also makes the list of features in the STRAFE.

Listening to the feedback from K70 users, the Corsair STRAFE will also come with textured and contoured FPS/MOBA keycaps.

Sporting a sleek new industrial design, STRAFE will be available worldwide by late June for USD 109.99 or around RM420 in Malaysia inclusive of taxes.

Pokdepinion : I literally raged when typing the “STRAFE”, I always type it as STARFE maybe because I’m STARFE-ving. For about RM 400 for the keyboard, I think it’s priced reasonably. I love how they put the “sails” logo on the keyboard and it’s definitely better than the Corsair Gaming tramp stamp. For anyone who’s looking for a new gaming mechanical keyboard, this might be one to consider.
