Battlefield 1 gets a brand new trailer for the “In the Name of the Tsar” expansion at EA Play E3 2017! Here’s all that you need to know.

E3 2017 has begun and we are super excited to see what’s going to happen this year at the videogame show of shows. Let’s kick things off with a little bit of Battlefield 1 from EA Play’s presentation.

 

[E3 2017] Battlefield 1 Expansion Details Unveiled

Launched some time in the fall of 2016, Battlefield 1 brought players back into the era of World War I, with the game set to bring even more iconic moments from the Great War with a series of new content that will go further into the eras of the war.

During EA’s conference at its EA Play 2017 event, a new trailer surfaced showcasing the new expansions and content coming to Battlefield 1 later this year. EA’s Andrew Gulotta revealed several new pieces of content coming. This includes Night Maps, and a brand new expansion called “In the Name of the Tsar,” which brings players into the largest front of World War I, including a new first look trailer.

In addition to the campaign, the expansion will feature 6 new maps, the Russian army, new cavalry, vehicles, weapons, “the iconic women’s battalion of Death,” and much more. During the conference, it was also revealed that the new content will be arriving in September 2017. EA promised during the conference that:

“In the Name of the Tsar” will be “the most extensive Battlefield expansion so far.

Along with the new expansion, EA also revealed that a new competitive experience will be arriving for Battlefield later this year. More details on the competitive experience will be revealed at Gamescom in August this year.

Battlefield 1 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The “In the Name of the Tsar” expansion will be coming some time in September this year.

 

Pokdepinion: I guess it might be time for me to go back to Battlefield 1 and start practicing all over again. It might just be worth it when it’s finally out.
