It would seem that Link’s adventure is not over yet, as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Gets DLC, 2 expansion packs to be precise.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the first blockbuster game to appear alongside the Nintendo Switch. There were other games around but clearly this is the main highlight of the launch offerings for Nintendo’s newest console.

Well, it seems that Link’s adventure is far from over as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is getting a DLC. To be precise, there will be 2 expansion packs coming to the game.

ARVE Error: need id and provider

Released alongside the debut of the Nintendo Switch in March, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has drawn substantial critical acclaim and has kept new Nintendo Switch owners occupied for hundreds of hours on end. Soon, there will be things to do in the game with more of it set to arrive later this year in our first look at its DLC and expansions.

During Nintendo’s Spotlight presentation at E3 2017, Nintendo shared a new trailer showcasing the upcoming Expansion Pass content for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which will feature a variety of new story missions and Challenge Maps, and much, much more to expand on an already massive title.

The trailer provided a closer look at the new “The Trial of the Sword” section of the title, while also showcasing the game’s new masks that players can utilize, and the new “Master Mode” difficulty level that will make the (already-challenging) game even more difficult.

During the stream, Nintendo confirmed that the first expansion pass pack, titled “The Master Trials”, will release on June 30th, 2017, while the second pack (“The Champions’ Ballad”) is expected in Holiday 2017. Both packs are included as part of the Expansion Pass for Breath of the Wild, which retails for $19.99 (RM85.21).

A series of new Amiibos based on the Champions from Breath of the Wild will also be arriving, with four new figurines coming sometime later this year that will (presumably) have some sort of functionality with the main game and/or the DLC expansions.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is already available now for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U.

Pokdepinion: Well, can’t say I didn’t expect this. DLC is the route for every game in today’s world and it’s a mixed bag for me. I suppose if the expansions ended up being good, I don’t mind shelling out a bit more cash for it.
