Facebook is Willing to Pay You For Your Voice Recordings
If you’re looking to make a bit of extra money on the side, then this could be something to try. Facebook is looking for people to provide their voice recordings. It will be used to improve their speech recognition technology, and they are willing to pay you for it.
Available as part of Facebook Viewpoints, a new section is available under the name “Pronunications”. You will have to sign up for it and wait for them to pick you. Once you’ve been confirmed, you will be asked to say “Hey Portal”, followed by the first name of a random friend on your friends list. You’ll be able to do that with up to ten friends, with each requiring two recordings.
For your troubles, you will earn 200 Viewpoint points, which is equivalent to USD $1. The minimum points required to cash out is 1000, which is USD $5. The good news here is that you can repeat the process up to five times, which would yield enough for the minimum cash out amount.
From what we understand, the user must be above 18 years old and have a minimum of 75 friends on their friends list to be eligible. At the moment, Facebook Viewpoints is only available in the US but it’s slowly rolling out to other countries as well. USD $5 may not be much but at the end of the day, it’s still money. Just try your luck and see if you get it.

Pokdepinion: Well, it sure beats having them sample your voices for free so might as well give it a shot.
