In an unsurprising twist, the Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer DLC titled “Comrades” has been delayed. On the plus side, it’s not a major delay.

Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer DLC Delayed

Today Square Enix made multiple announcements about Final Fantasy XV on the official Japanese Twitter account. First of all, we learn that the “Comrades” multiplayer expansion, that was initially scheduled for October 31st, will now launch on November 15th.

On top of that, we also learn that the the update that will add support for Xbox One X will happen today at approximately 8PM Japan time / 7PM for Malaysians and those staying in the GMT +8 timezone. It’s most likely that by the time I’ve published this article, the update will already be out so do check it out.

The update will also include the ability to accept multiple hunts at the same time, and is scheduled to arrive on the PlayStation 4 on November 10th 2017.

The Xbox One X’s support for Final Fantasy XV includes 4K output and HDR, and comes just in time for the release of the console, which will happen tomorrow, November 7th.

A few weeks ago, information surfaced mentioning that the main Final Fantasy XV game will keep receiving new content next year, past the original plan to end in 2017. The upcoming Episode Ignis story DLC will also come on December 13th 2017, and it recently received a new trailer at Paris Games Week.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One, and will release for PC in early 2018.

Pokdepinion: I kind of gave up on Final Fantasy XV already though I’m somewhat excited to give the Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer DLC. Of course, this is only assuming I’m actually able to play it with other people. Time to wait for the DLC to release.
