Looks like we got some early news for this one. Presenting the free games lineup for PS Plus May 2017!

In recent months, we had to wait quite awhile to know what free games we’ll be getting for PS Plus. Before that, it wasn’t like this at all as we would at least get to know about it at the end of the previous month.

Rumours have circulated that Sony Interactive Entertainment will be announcing it early this time around to avoid a potential clash with something that’s launching soon and it might just be true. Why? Because we have the official lineup of free games for PS Plus May 2017, for both the US and EU region.

ARVE Error: need id and provider

Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the full lineup of free games for PS Plus May 2017. This means that if you are a PS Plus subscriber in May, you’re getting some free games your way and this month, it’s looking pretty damn good.

Notably, Alienation from developer Housemarque is available for Europe, but not in North America, where it has been replaced with ABZU from developer Giant Squid.

Meanwhile common among both line-ups is Tales from the Borderlands from developer Telltale Games. Across this 5-part episodic series you follow the journey of Rhys and Fiona across Pandora as they are thrown together to recover a fortune. Oh, and Handsome Jack plays an integral role in the story.

Here’s the full line-up for Europe:

  • Alienation (PS4)
  • Tales from the Borderlands (PS4)
  • Blood Knights (PS3)
  • Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants (PS3)
  • Laser Disco Defenders (PS Vita) (Cross Busy with PS4)
  • Type: Rider (PS Vita) (Cross Buy With PS4)

Here’s the full line-up for North America:

  • Tales from the Borderlands, PS4
  • Abzu, PS4
  • Blood Knights, PS3
  • Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants, PS3
  • Laser Disco Defenders, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
  • Type:Rider, PS Vita (Cross Buy on PS4)

Two new trailers highlighting each line-up have also been released. So which do you think is better? The US lineup for EU lineup for PS Plus May 2017?

Pokdepinion: Oh my god, they’re actually giving away Tales from the Borderlands. That is by far my favourite of all the Telltale Games series. I can’t wait to see what they’re going to give for PS Plus Asia.
