Garmin Venu with Always-On AMOLED Display Launched in Malaysia – That Price Tho
At a launch event in Kuala Lumpur today, the folks over at Garmin Malaysia have officially launched the Garmin Venu smartwatch.
It has a 1.2-inch Always-On AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is said to have a battery life of up to 5 days even with both GPS and music on. If you’d like to personalize it, you can swap out the 20mm interchangeable band for another one.
The Garmin Venu wearable is designed for those with an active lifestyle. It’s suitable for office use but also for those who frequently do sports / physical activities. It’s capable of measuring your stress levels, sleep patterns, heartbeat, and keep track of women’s menstrual cycle. With the 5ATM water rating, you can easily take this with you when you swim / shower.
Garmin Venu is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. You can easily control your music with Spotify. Users also have a cashless payment method using this via Garmin Pay. Unfortunately, a full list of shops / restaurants that accept this method of payment is still unknown at the time of this writing.

Garmin Venu will be available starting 9th October 2019 onwards, and it will be retailing for RM1,799. As for colour options, it will come in four different choices; Black with Slate, Light Sand with Rose Gold, Black with Gold and Granite Blue with Silver.
Pokdepinion: Not sure about using it when I’m taking a shower but hey, I would definitely use this for swimming or basketball.
