Gears of War 5 PC System Requirements Revealed

The Gears of War 5 technical test on PC will be happening soon, and now we have some indication of what sorta hardware you need for the game. Develop The Coalition has indicated some rather beefy specifications for the ideal system requirements, but the others look pretty reasonable.

It appears that the game will take up about 15GBs of space at launch, and will require the Windows 10 May 2019 update. The pre-download for the Gears of War 5 technical test will begin on 17th July 2019 at 10AM PDT / 18th July 2019 at 1AM GMT +8. The technical test itself will be running from 19th July 2019 at 10AM PDT to 22nd July 2019 at 10AM PDT. For Malaysians, that will be 20th July 2019 at 1AM (GMT +8) to 23rd July 2019 at 1AM (GMT +8).

This is what The Coalition has to say about the Gears of War 5 Technical Test:

During Test periods, our goal is to test our servers handling an influx of players ahead of launch day. Gears 5 has an access queue system in place to protect server stability as much as possible – please be aware you may encounter some queueing as you start to play. Between test periods, the Tech Test will remain available for download but servers will be offline.

• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 / AMD Radeon VII
• Memory: 16GB RAM
• Storage: 15GB space in SSD
• OS: Windows 10 (May 2019 Update)

Pokdepinion: The Gears of War 5 system requirements look pretty hefty for the ideal one. Regardless, looks like my PC will be run the game without any issues.
