If you were wondering how well your PC can run Final Fantasy XV, then wonder no more. Square Enix has released the benchmark tool for the game and depending on the score, you’ll know what settings you can play the game in.

How Well Can Your PC Run Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition?

The folks over at Square Enix has made the benchmark for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition available for download.

The program can be downloaded here. It’s about 3.7GBs. Once you have installed it, all you have to do is to select your graphics options, and start the benchmark. Those familiar with Final Fantasy XIV will feel right at home, as it’s pretty much the same procedure, with a very similar program.

Once the benchmark has done its job, it’ll return a score, which basically tells you how capable your PC is to run the game:

12000 or higher Extremely High The game will run exceedingly well. A high frame rate is possible and even richer graphical settings can be used.
9000 to 11999 Very High You can expect the game to run very comfortably. A high frame rate is possible and even higher quality graphical settings can be used.
6000 to 8999 High You can expect the game to run comfortably. It should run smoothly, even at higher graphics settings.
4500 to 5999 Fairly High
A standard level of performance can be expected. Adjustments to the graphics settings are recommended if possible.
3000 to 4499 Standard
A standard level of performance can be expected.
2500 to 2999 Slightly Low It is possible to play the game, but you may experience a burden on processing when performing some actions. Adjustments to the graphics settings are recommended.
2000 to 2499 Low It is possible to play the game, but all actions will feel sluggish overall. There is a chance that the performance may improve with adjustments to the graphics settings or display resolution.
0 to 1999 Insufficient The system does not meet the minimum requirements to run the game.

On top of the benchmark, pre-purchases are now available on SteamOrigin, and the Windows Store. Each store has a specific pre-purchase bonus, which you can see below alongside the virtual box art and some lovely key art. Steam players will get the FFXV Fashion Collectionfor Noctis, Origin customers will receive the FFXV Regalia Sticker Pack, and Windows Store users will get the FFXV Battle Upgrade Pack.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will be available on March 6th 2018.

Pokdepinion: Well, it’s almost time for PC gamers to finally enjoy what the console people have been enjoying…or suffering through depending on how you feel about the game.

I just check out Youtube to see how well my hardware handles games before I buy them. Glad to see that my GTX 750 Ti can still run this. It’s one hell of a budget GPU.
