HUAWEI bags top awards at IFA 2018 — Kirin 980 snags 7 awards from international press

HUAWEI’s new cutting edge Kirin 980 chipset is right at the forefront of technology, being the first mobile chipset to be built on the very new TSMC 7nm manufacturing process, as well as featuring dual NPUs for enhanced AI performance. And tech media around the world love it.

In fact, they love the HUAWEI Kirin 980 enough to bestow it with 7 awards, with more than one publication calling the Kirin 980 the Best of IFA 2018. Touting a massive upgrade over the underwhelming Kirin 970 while also bringing a whole new slew of innovations with it, it really comes as no surprise.

HUAWEI’s other products showcased at the IFA 2018 like the HUAWEI AI Cube, HUAWEI Locator and the new leather-clad HUAWEI P20 Pros also took home some awards, but the Kirin 980 was easily the star of the show.

Well, now all there is to do is to wait for the HUAWEI Mate 20 to arrive in Malaysia!
