Looks like the 2 Lenovo Legion gaming desktops weren’t the only thing that’s new. Lenovo and Corsair are working together to deliver something interesting.

Just when we’ve received word about the 2 new Legion Tower PCs, we have received another word about Lenovo and Corsair joining forces, and something about a gaming monitor. What can we expect from this partnership? Let’s find out.

Lenovo and Corsair Joining Forces

Lenovo Legion Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM Gamescom 2017

Lenovo is announcing an exclusive OEM partnership with Corsair to bring gamers overclockable memory in Lenovo Legion PCs. Both companies are working together to arm the top-of-the-line Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower with optional Corsair Vengeance LPX overclockable DDR4 memory, adding an extra boost to its speed and performance.

Lenovo has designed the VR-ready Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower for the most serious PC gamer. This fully-stacked machine runs on Windows 10 and houses up to 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700K quad-core processors. The tower’s graphics card is said to contain up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB graphics card.

It has enough power to future-proof your PC gaming experience. Consumers also have the option of upgrading the Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower with the 32GB 2800Mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX overclockable DDR4 memory and integrated Asetek liquid cooling to overclock the CPU.

The Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower is the 1st product of Lenovo’s collaboration with Corsair, but the partnership doesn’t end there. Lenovo mentioned that there will be more things that we can expect from this partnership, and it will be unveiled at a later date.

A 24.5-inch Full HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate for sharp undistorted images, the Lenovo Legion Y25f Gaming Monitor brings out incredible details and textures in your favorite games. Featuring all-new HDR capabilities including 400 nits of brightness, the near-frameless display is said to make images extra vibrant for games that appear to explode off the screen.

Every frame counts in a competitive gaming session, and the Lenovo Legion Y25f Gaming Monitor has an incredibly fast 1ms extreme response time, equipping players for any high-octane firefight with little-to-no lag. On the customization front, the Lenovo Legion Y25f Gaming Monitor adjusts by height and angle, and offers a convenient headphone hook.

The pricing and availability for the Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower and Y25f Gaming Monitor have yet to be announced. We’ll be reporting about it as soon as information becomes available.

UPDATE: Lenovo has just released the pricing and availability of the Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower and Y25f Gaming Monitor. The prices are as follows:

  • Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower with CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX overclockable DDR4 memory will be available starting at €2,299 in September 2017.
  • Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower with optional integrated Asetek liquid cooling will be available starting €2,399 in October 2017.
  • Lenovo Legion Y25f Gaming Monitor will be available starting at €299 in January 2018.

The prices and availability for the Malaysian market will be announced later.

Pokdepinion: Well, I was caught off-guard by the partnership. Having those RAMs in the desktop will certainly boost interest from the masses. I’m more curious as to what we can expect from them in the future, as Lenovo is starting to sound pretty confident that this upcoming matter will certainly get people excited.
