Nintendo shows off some major exclusive titles for the Nintendo Switch in a brand new summer trailer.

There have been many complaints on the internet about the Nintendo Switch not having enough exclusives to go around. I mean, I’m sure most people would have finished The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild but even without, it could use some more games in the system.

To be fair, the console is still fairly new so it is to be expected. Either way, Nintendo has showed off a number of interesting exclusives coming to their new gaming system. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

ARVE Error: need id and provider

Nintendo released today a new trailer for its new console, the Nintendo Switch, featuring the Summer line-up of exclusive games for the new platform. We get to see ARMS, Splatoon 2, and the newly-announced Pokkén Tournament DX, played in the usual trendy/hipster-ish that have become a hallmark of Nintendo’s Switch promotion.

Pokkén Tournament DX will include new modes like 3-on-3 team battles, online ranked matches, friend matches, and private group matches. It will come with all 16 Pokémon from the Wii U version, with the addition of Empoleon, Darkrai, Scizor, Croagunk and Decidueye.

ARMS will release on June 6th 2017, followed by Splatoon 2 on July 21st 2017, while Pokkén Tournament DX will launch on September 22nd 2017. I guess that’s not “summer” in a calendar sense, but it’s close enough.

Pokdepinion: Well, if you’ve been complaining about the lack of good games for the Nintendo Switch, here’s a bunch of them to look forward to. I know most people would be more excited for Pokken Tournament DX but either way, there’s enough variety here to keep a multitude of gamers entertained. I still do hope there will be more games available for the system in a rapid pace so that it can maintain a competitive edge over its rivals.
