Sony Electronics Malaysia has just launched the new WH-1000XM3 noise cancelling headphones, which comes as the newest addition to the brand’s acclaimed 1000X series.

The new headphones offers the same features from the previous WH-1000XM2 model while adding improvements such as the noise cancelling performance to enhance your listening and user experience.

It features a newly developed HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1, which Sony has said to offer four times greater performance than the previous processor. The feature not only negate transport noise but also cancels out daily background noise such as street noise and human voices.

The WH-1000XM3 also features Dual Noise Sensor technology that captures ambient noise with dual microphones and then passes the sound data to the processor to cancel the noise.

Its high-resolution audio is based on a 40mm driver unit with a Liquid Crystal Polymer diaphragm that can handle heavy beats and reporduce a full range of frequencies up to 40kHz.

Additionally, with its QN1 processor, it can also deliver stunning sound quality with 32-bit audio signal processing and the combo of DAC with amplifier functionality.

Furthermore the headphones offers Adaptive Sound Control that automatically detects your physical situations and adjusts to changes. With it, you can hear ambient together with music when walking and announcement while waiting, without worrying of missing anything from the outside world.

The WH-1000XM3 is slimmer and weighs less than its predecessor, is now available at a price tag of RM1,599 and you can get them at Sony Stores and authorized retailers in the country.

Pokdepinion: As far as I’m concerned, Sony’s audio products has been key to their company, so rest assured that their quality is good. I wish I could say the same thing about their smartphones though…
