MSI bags multiple awards at CES 2018
MSI launched a slew of gaming products at CES 2018, while taking home multiple awards for their innovative features. With these awards in the bag, MSI is proud to reaffirm its place as a leader of the high-end gaming market.
MSI Optix MPG27C/MPG27CQ monitors
The Optix MPG series grows with two new members of the family. The Optix MPG27C and Optix MP27CQ are both curved 27″ VA displays with an 1800R curve. Both feature 144 Hz refresh rates and 1 ms response times, but they differ in resolution. Aside from speed, the VA panels also offer 100% NTSC and 115% sRGB coverage. The Optix MPG27C packs a standard 1080p resolution, while the Optix MPG27CQ goes for 1440p. The Optix MPG27CQ was named a CES 2018 Innovation Award Honoree.
The Optix MPG series feature SteelSeries GameSense for a more immersive gaming experience. Five RGB zones on the front of the monitor are programmable to display your status in-game. The back of the monitor also features RGB lighting.
MSI Trident 3 Artic and Infinite X desktops
The MSI Trident 3 Artic was introduced back in March 2017, to lots of praise. Packing high end gaming hardware into a compact chassis is never easy, but MSI was successful in their endeavor. This year, the Trident 3 Artic sees an upgrade with an 8th Generation Intel CPU and GeForce GTX 1080 inside. The Trident 3 Artic bagged the Best of Innovation at Gaming award.
The Infinite X features a more traditional tower design, but still packs a few cool tricks up its sleeve. You get Mystic Light RGB illumination, MSI award-winning graphics card and Intel’s 8th Generation CPU cooled by MSI’s Silent Storm Cooling 3 Pro liquid cooling system. Available in either dual steel or dual tempered glass side panels, the Infinite X allows you to show off the hardware inside, or not. Of course, MSI has also bundled it with Audio Boost, Game Boost, blazing fast storage configurations and Nahimic, to give you an extra edge in gaming.
The Aegis Ti3 gaming desktop will also be upgraded with an Intel 8th Generation processor later this year.
MSI Z370 GODLIKE GAMING motherboard
Go to the limits of the Intel Z370 platform and beyond with the MSI Z370 GODLIKE GAMING motherboard. The motherboard supports Triple Turbo M.2 with M.2 Shield V2 to allow the drives to perform at their best without throttling. Turbo U.2 with Steel Armor is also available. For the audiophiles, there is the Xtreme Audio DAC with Nahimic 2 for the best in sound quality. Networking is handled by Killer xTend which combines a built-in siwthc with a wireless extender. Last but not least, Steel Armor protects the DIMM slots from physical damage, while providing shielding for pure data signals to the DDR4 modules. Support for NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFire comes standard, so you are ready to build your ultimate gaming system on this motherboard.
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z graphics card
The Lightning series has been known as the top dogs when it comes to graphics cards. The MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z features Tri-Frozr thermal design, with three award-winning TORX 2.0 fans with double ball bearings for maximum airflow. A close quarters heat pipe cooling built into the Close Quarters Heatsink and the backplate improves thermal management. Military Class 4 components are used for maximum stability and quality, allowing you to max out the overclocking potential on these cards.
MSI GT75VR Titan Pro with Killer Wireless-AC 1550
While previous MSI products already featured Killer Wireless, the Killer Wireless-AC 1550 is the first to be developed in partnership with Intel. It is the world’s fastest 2×2 802.11ac wireless networking adapter, capable of delivering up to 1.73 Gbps of throughput. It comes with 160 MHz channel support and can deliver double the throughput of standard 2×2 11ac adapters.
The first laptop to come with the Killer Wireless-AC 1550 will be the MSI GT75VR Titan Pro which will also feature a new Gaming Mode. The mode gives users better performance, interactive backlighting and in-game optimizations for popular titles like PUBG.
Pokdepinion: The MSI Trident 3 Artic is what I would really want, a compact, high performance gaming rig.
