Xiaomi’s Newest Arrival in Malaysia: Mi 2K Gaming Monitor 27”

At the Xiaomi launch event earlier this week, Xiaomi announced a new Mi 2K Gaming Monitor 27” alongside the new Redmi Note 11 Series in Malaysia.

The gaming monitor is expected to have an immersive 27″ IPS display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which gives the gaming monitor its’ 2K title. The monitor’s response time is listed as 1ms with its Intelligent Motion Blur Control feature activated or 4ms for those looking into the grey-to-grey (GTG) rating. Xiaomi has since noted that the monitor has 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

Alternatively, Xiaomi has also opted to calibrate the colour accuracy of its 2K Gaming Monitor at the factory to support a Delta E value of under two. This option showcases Xiaomi’s commitment to delivering high-quality devices that support working professionals. In addition to that, the monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and comes with a rotating stand that allows gamers to position it in any angle they prefer. The monitor also has various usage ports for convenience and efficiency.
The Mi 2K Gaming Monitor 27” will retail for RM1,699 in Xiaomi Malaysia stores. However, despite being officially launched at the Xiaomi event, there has been no proper release date yet. Fans can look forward to its arrival and when it is available for purchase via Xiaomi’s social media.
