A leak revealing MSI’s upcoming MSI GL63 has revealed the latest hardware from both Intel and NVIDIA. Intel will be introducing their 9th Gen Intel Core processors for laptops very soon, while NVIDIA has their GeForce GTX 1650 to unleash upon the world. The MSI GL63 will apparently pack both.

The leaked flyers courtesy of @momomo_us reveals the improvements that we are set to gain from the GeForce GTX 1650. Interestingly, it offers up to 41% performance improvement from the GeForce GTX 1050, with the lead shrinking to a still respectable 24% when compared against the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.

The GeForce GTX 1650 appears to have pretty respectable horsepower under its hood!

A more realistic test would definitely be games. The GeForce GTX 1650 is promised to deliver around 120 fps in League of Legends and 60 fps in Assassin’s Creed. It’s quite clear that the GeForce GTX 1650 is probably going to be marketed as an “esports” graphics card designed for less graphics-intensive titles.

From the other pages, we also know that the GeForce GTX 1650 in the MSI GL63 will be clocked at up to 1395 MHz and come with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM. The type of VRAM used in the GeForce GTX 1650 isn’t explicitly revealed, but considering the GeForce GTX 1660 features 8 Gbps GDDR5 memory, we would expect something similar for the GeForce GTX 1650 as well.

We have already seen two laptop manufacturers leak out their GeForce GTX 1650 laptops, but we have yet to see a AIB partner reveal their GeForce GTX 1650. Might NVIDIA actually release a laptop-only Turing GPU this time around?

Pokdepinion: If it is priced around what GeForce GTX 1050 laptops have been going for, the GeForce GTX 1650 might be a pretty impressive upgrade.
