Microsoft just announced the official free games lineup for Xbox Games with Gold December 2017 via the blog of Xbox Live Director of Programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb. For the month of December, Xbox Live Gold members will receive 4 new free games, 2 on Xbox One and 2 on Xbox 360, as part of the Games with Gold program. You can play both Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One with Backward Compatibility.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide (retailing for USD $39.99) for free during the month of December. Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition (retailing for USD $19.99) will be available as a free download from December 16th 2017 to January 15th 2018.

On Xbox 360 starting December 1st 2017, Child of Eden (retailing for USD $29.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through December 15th 2017. Then on December 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Marlow Briggs and the Mask of the Death (retailing for USD $14.99) for free through December 31st 2017.

As usual, both Xbox 360 games will be playable on Xbox One and Xbox One X via backwards compatibility so no worries, you will be able to play them. And that’s the Xbox Games with Gold December 2017 official free games lineup.

Since we’re still in November (at the time of this writing and hopefully when you’re reading this), if you’re a subscriber you can still grab the titles for this month, so you shouldn’t forget to do so before they get phased out.

Pokdepinion: Well, last month’s one was better but I’m not complaining. A free game is a free game, and the Xbox Gold membership is still worth the value it provides.
