Alongside the announcement of their newest gaming smartphone, with a brand new accessory that is a good fit for mobile gaming. It’s called the Razer Raiju Mobile, based on the same Raiju controller for the PS4, but this one is to be used with Android devices.

The Razer Raiju Mobile was designed with Android smartphones in mind, which will work perfectly with the Razer Phone and its upcoming successor. It utilizes the Xbox-style controller layout, so the d-pad and analog sticks’ positioning are switched around.

The mecha-tactile action buttons is said to provide crisp, tactile feedback while also giving fast actuation for faster response in games. You can connect it to Android devices using either USB-C or wirelessly via Bluetooth. You can also dock your Android smartphone on the controller as it does have a phone holder.

For additional customizations, users can do so by using the mobile app. It is said that the battery life will last up to 23 hours, which is lengthy, but we won’t know for sure until we review it ourselves.

It is said that the Razer Raiju Mobile is fully supported on games such as Vainglory, Dead Trigger 2, and Lineage 2. It will be retailing for USD $149.99 / RM729.

We actually reviewed the Razer Raiju controller, which was then made for the PlayStation 4. Check out the review by clicking right here.

Pokdepinion: I actually use the PS4 version of that controller and I have never looked back since. Would not be surprised if it does well for the mobile gaming space.
