ROG Conquest Penang Championship Cup Registration Now Open – Ready To Conquer In Dota 2?

ASUS ROG will be holding their ROG Conquest Penang Championship Cup which is set to begin this coming 21st April 2018 where there is a total prize pool of RM20,000 for players to vie for.

ROG Conquest Penang Championship Cup Registration Now Open - Ready To Conquer In Dota 2? 29For the tournament, there will be two type of qualifiers, Open Qualifiers where all members must be Malaysians under 25 years old and there is the University Qualifiers where three members of the team must a Malaysian university student.

The tournament’s format will start of with group stages and later to single elimination. Grand finals will take place at The TOP Komtar in  Penang.

Here is the schedule for the ROG Conquest Penang Championship Cup:

  • Online Qualifier – 21st April 2018 (Top 64 teams progress)
  • Top 32 Finals – 22nd April 2018
  • Grand Finals – 28th April and 29th April 2018 (Top 8 Teams)

If you win the cup, it means you will be walking away with RM8,000 (to be shared with your team, of course!). Runner up will get RM4,000 while 2nd Runner Up and 3rd Runner Up will be getting RM3,000 and RM2,000 respectively. In addition to that, 5th to 8th placed teams will also be rewarded as they are promised to get RM1,000 for each team in those positions. This means, as long as you’re in the Grand Finals stage, you’ll be confirmed in getting money none the less!

Pokdepinion: Giving a hint here, Ohaiyo, Mushi, Moon and the likes are banned from the tournament. For those Dota 2 players in Penang, make sure you enter the tournament (it’s free anyways!). You might just win some cold hard cash!
