Samsung Officially Launch Galaxy Note 8 – Featuring Special Guest Star Song Ji-Hyo!

Samsung has officially launch their most advanced smartphone of the year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, at Pavillion Kuala Lumpur today. It’s dubbed as the ultimate productivity tool that helps users achieve bigger things in work and life.

The Galaxy Note 8 has the biggest screen ever on a Note device coming at 6.3 inch Quad HD plus Super AMOLED Infinity Display. Despite that, it’s narrow body makes it easy to hold. With such a big display, it lets you see more and scroll less. By giving you more room to watch, read and draw, makes it a the ultimate multitasking smartphone of today.

Note users have been able to more with Multi Window, with the new smartphone, the new App Pair feature lets you create a custom pair of apps on the Edge Panel and simultaneously launch two applications without any problems.

Since its introduction, the S Pen has been an iconic feature for the Note series. With the Note 8, comes the Live Message, which allows you to tell expressive stories. You can now share animated texts or drawings across platforms that support animated GIFs.

Some people choose to look at the camera specifications when they are looking for a new phone. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, you’ll be getting a very powerful one. It is the first smartphone with two 12MP rear cameras with Dual Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) on both wide-angle and telephoto lense.

The Live Focus feature lets you to adjust the bokeh effect in preview mode and even after you take the photo. Dual Capture mode allows both rear cameras to take pictures simultaneously and allow you to save both images, one from the telephoto lens and one from the wide angle lens.

In terms of performance, it comes with 6GB of RAM and has a 10nm processor. Memory is expandable up to 256GB via microSD.

Besides the Galaxy Note 8 itself, there was Song Ji-Hyo present at the launch. Lucky fans got to take selfies with the Running Man star on stage, where she demonstrated the Live Message feature of Samsung’s new device.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now available in Malaysia and will be retailing at RM3999. Three color options are available; Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Maple Gold.
