Every year in CES, consumers get to see the top brands in the world in unveiling their latest technology and what not. Well at next year’s convention, it appears that Samsung will be introducing a virtual keyboard that’s powered by a smartphone’s selfie camera.

Samsung looks set to introduce SelfieType at next year's CES 2020, where it is a virtual keyboard that utilizes the front camera of a smartphone.

With SelfieTypie, it uses AI algorithms as well as a front camera from a smartphone to offer you a virtual keyboard. All you need to do is move and ‘air type’.

Samsung has revealed at their website that the technology doesn’t require you to purchase any additional hardware for it to work. All you need is a smartphone, tablets, or even laptop.

Other than SelfieType, it is reported that the company will also be unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite at CES 2020.

Pokdepinion: Interesting tech but what I’m concerned is how accurate can it be? With physical keyboards, we get that feedback on we’re typing. Don’t know how this will play out but hopefully it’ll not disappoint.
