Google Search has a new meaning to it now. You can now Google “find my phone” to search for your phone and it will help you locate your phone and show you a map, so that you can go all Liam Neeson to get back your lost phone. In case you just can’t find it in your own house, you can also make your phone ring. No more having to borrow your siblings phone to dial your number to help you find your phone (been there, done that).

Besides those two nifty features, you can also lock out the thief of your Android smartphone with the lock function. You can also put a phone number for the “accidental new owner” to contact.

You also get a last resort of factory resetting it to prevent the thief from getting to your precious sensitive data. However do note that after a factory reset you will no longer be able to track the device.
