While its been some time that we’ve learned that Sony planned on shutting down in producing PS Vita, well now it is finally official. The move marks the last step in a long phase where they started to halt games in 2015.

Released back in December 2011, the company had aimed in offering a system that’s portable and where users can game on the go. Adding to the news, Sony doesn’t plan on a sequel to the handheld device. Considering how well smartphone gaming has grown in recent times, it seems like a wise choice.

If you are looking for one, you should do it quickly at retailers before they all run out or even track down second-hand units.

PS Vita games has been excluded from the upcoming March 2019 PS Plus lineup. If you haven’t checked out what games that you’ll be getting for this month, you can check out the full list right here.

Pokdepinion: I can’t say that I’m surprised with the news but still, it’s a sad day for PS Vita owners out there.
