News broke out on the Japanese Playstation Blog that Sony has introduce My Playstation, a browser-based version of PSN and it’s live right now.

My Playstation

Sony Introduces My Playstation - An Easier Way To Access To Your PSN Profile! 28Through My Playstation, it gives access to a browser-based version of your Playstation Network profile on desktop, smartphone, and tablet as well.

Instead of relying on the Playstation app or even your console itself, you can now access your friend list, checkout your trophies and accomplishments, search for friends and respond to friend requests, send messages, and the ability to update your profile. In addition, account management functions will be integrated into My Playstation in the near future.

The site is live now and it isn’t restricted to accounts in Japan only. At the moment, there aren’t any functions besides the ones that was mentioned above, but this does in a sense be an option for those who don’t feel like installing the Playstation app on their device and still be able to control their account on the go.

You can go check the site now by clicking right here and sign in through your Playstation account.

Talking about Playstation, make sure that you have checked out this month’s Playstation Plus games before it goes away soon. You can click on the link right here to check out the game list for the free PS Plus games for February 2018 (and here for R1)

Pokdepinion: Being a PS4 gamer myself, I can see the reasoning behind the site. It gives a better option to players. Honestly speaking, I have the Playstation app on my smartphone but I RARELY use it. With the site, I guess I can clear up some space for my device. Might as well just use the site. Again, don’t forget to claim your free Playstation Plus games before it goes away (if you haven’t already!)
