Aside from the Soul Calibur VI announcement, Bandai Namco and Sony Interactive Entertainment has shared a 10 minute gameplay footage at PS Experience.

Soul Calibur VI Gameplay Footage Revealed

One of the most hottest game announcements in recent times, Soul Calibur VI was officially announced at the recent PlayStation Experience event.  During the live programming form PlayStation Experience, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Bandai Namco presented about 10 minutes of gameplay for SoulCalibur VI.

As expected, the gameplay features 2 of the most notable characters in the Soul series, Sophitia and Mitsurugi, whom appear to be the only characters available in this build. On the up side, we get to see a lot more of their flashy moves.

We also get an introduction by the man at the helm of the game, who is former Tekken 7 Producer Motohiro Okubo. It would seem that Sophitia seems to have a bit of an upgrade in a particular region, if you get what I mean. Would love to have seen Siegfried / Nightmare in action but this is exciting enough as it is.

Fans have been vying for a new entry in the Soul series, with there being some teases every now and then from Bandai Namco. Looks like we’re finally getting our wish since the game has been officially announced.

Soul Calibur VI will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam sometime in 2018. Unfortunately, there are no specific release dates or window aside from 2018.

Pokdepinion: I have not been this excited for a game in long while. I’ve had plenty of good memories playing the Soul series, all the way back to the PlayStation days with Soul Edge. While the most recent game was kind of disappointing, I’m hoping this time around it will be better, especially given how good Tekken 7 was.
