Many gamers were left frustrated when EA decided to open up Origin and leave Steam to have their own store. We’ve previously reported that they might do a comeback. Now it seems that they are indeed coming back with the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

It seems that the game will be the first of many games to come to Steam. Adding to that, their subscription service, EA Access will also be arriving on the platform.

The game is already listed on the Steam store and will be released on the 15th of November 2019.

In addition to the game, it will also be followed by The Sims 4, Unravel 2, Apex Legends, and Battlefield V to Steam.

EA’s very own CEO, Andrew Wilson states;

This is the start of an exciting partnership with Valve that will see us innovating for PC players around the world. Through our subscription, great games and more, we’re excited to bring players in the Steam and Origin communities together with access to the best games, whenever and wherever they want to play.

Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts

Despite the news, crossplay will be made available for online games between Steam and Origin users, so you shouldn’t worry too much if you already bought a game on Origin.
