If you’re looking to buy some new games on Steam, you should wait on that purchase for a while longer. The Steam Lunar New Year Sale 2021 is coming soon and we have the exact dates right here. This way, you can have more games to play soon and save money in the process.

Steam Lunar New Year Sale 2021 is Coming Soon

The first big Steam Sales we’ll see in 2021 will be the Steam Lunar New Year Sale 2021. According to Steam Database on Twitter, Steam has already sent emails to partners that it will be happening from 11th February to 15th February 2021. In case you’re wondering, the Lunar New Year itself for this year starts on 12th February 2021.

This isn’t the first time we had a Steam Lunar New Year Sale as we had a similar promotion period happening last year January. Given that the pandemic is still affecting a wide number of countries and many people are forced to stay at home, it would make sense for Valve to continue the tradition again this year to push for more sales.

As for what games will be available on discount, there is a chance that Cyberpunk 2077 may see a significant discount to encourage more people to get the game. Despite being quite a buggy mess, it has received a large update to fix a number of issues this month, with another one coming some time next month. Some of the other more recent games are unlikely to receive discounts during this sale.

Once again, the Steam Lunar New Year Sale 2021 will be happening from 11th February to 15th February 2021.
