If you thought that a particular protagonist is missing in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, well no worries. Noctis Lucis Caelum from FFXV has been confirmed.

Noctis Joins Dissidia Final Fantasy NT

During Tokyo Game Show 2017, Square Enix launched a brand new trailer for their upcoming Final Fantasy fighting game, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4 (aside it already being available on arcade machines in Japan) on January 20th 2018.

The trailer reveals that Noctis will be a playable character in the game. Furthermore, he will be featured in the game’s story which includes many characters from past Final Fantasy titles. Noctis will be equipped with familiar weapons and use a move set similar to what we have seen in Final Fantasy XV.

Additionally, players can get a preview of the game’s battles with summons and details on why the heroes must fight to save the “world of Dissidia”. Also revealed were new battle rules, offering players a variety of challenges, as well as a newly refined HUD.

After all, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT hosts a handful of fan service that long time Final Fantasy lovers will enjoy, even if they don’t quite like the fighting genre.

Pokdepinion: If I’m gonna be honest, I could not care less about Noctis. Just because Final Fantasy XV was subpar for me, I don’t really mind if he’s not around even. But I’m sure many of you will be happy to have him in the game, and I won’t judge you for that.
