We have official confirmation that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered is happening for real, and a trailer for the game has surfaced at TGS 2018.

At TGS 2018, the folks over at Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy Chronicles Remastered is happening for real and will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. They’ve even dropped a brand new trailer at TGS 2018.

For those of you who didn’t know, the original game was a critically-acclaimed Nintendo Gamecube-exclusive action RPG that can be played with up to 4 players (as the Gamecube has 4 controller ports). It is one of the best games you can get for the Gamecube and anyone who didn’t own one missed the chance to play this classic…until now.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered will include 4-player online multiplayer, new areas in dungeons to explore, and a few more additional content. There may be more to be revealed as the release date draws near. Be sure to check out the trailer at the top of this post.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019. We will be reporting on the release date, and if it gets announced for other platforms, as soon as information becomes available.

Pokdepinion: I had fond memories of playing this when I went over to my friend’s place after school. I hope it pops up on Steam one day, because multiplayer is really fun and PC would be easier for me to find friends to play with.
