[TGS 2018] World of Final Fantasy Maxima Revealed

At TGS 2018, Square Enix has revealed World of Final Fantasy Maxima, the updated version of their spin-off RPG. Here is everything that you need to know.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima Revealed at TGS 2018

At TGS 2018, Square Enix has unveiled World of Final Fantasy Maxima, an updated version of the spin-off game.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima will be adding new heroes to the base game including Zack Fair from Final Fantasy VII, Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, Firion from Final Fantasy II, and Serah from Final Fantasy XIII. From the trailer, it appears that we’ll also be getting a fishing minigame with Noctis.

The game will also introduce a new Avatar change system, which will allow the main characters to change their appearance to the chibi version of the Final Fantasy protagonists in the series.

The retail price for the game has not been announced but it’s worth noting that those of you who own the base game already can purchase a standalone Maxima DLC to enjoy all the updated content.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on 6th November 2018.

There is already a Steam page for the DLC add-on available, but no price has been revealed yet.

Pokdepinion: I love this game for all the cameo appearances and what not but I wished they made the combat system better. It’s just so odd, but that’s just me.
