Touch ‘n Go eWallet gets updated — check the balance of your Touch ‘n Go card from your phone!

Recently it seems like we are seeing a flood of e-wallets popping up in our local scene. We now have quite a few names in the market. Touch ‘n Go, which had a rocky start, is now back. The Touch ‘n Go eWallet has just seen its latest update and now rocks a whole new user interface.

You can even monitor the balance in your Touch ‘n Go cards, but currently there is still no support for reloading the cards via the Touch ‘n Go eWallet. You can add up to three cards, but the cards’ balance will not be updated in real-time, and changes will only appear a day later.

The new eWallet will tie in to the RFID toll payment system, which will be replacing the SmartTAG payment system soon. The Touch ‘n Go eWallet is available for both iOS and Android users.

Pokdepinion: Well now I don’t have to guess how much balance there is left in my card, but with it still unable to reload my TnG card makes this feature seem rather half-baked…
