Was your TM unifi connection down? Well here’s the reason why
The good thing is that the problem should be fixed by now. TM unifi’s official Twitter account has blasted out a few tweets regarding the issue. TM unifi subscribers were suffering downtime from as early as 17th November, and the problem was apparently caused by severed cables caused by the MRT and WSE construction works.

Sharing pictures from ground-zero of the cable cut incident. While the repair and replacement works are still underway,we have optimised the network by rerouting traffic&fully restored the services affected at 10am so that the internet experience is back to normal. pic.twitter.com/nwGepxbnMX— unifi (@unifi) November 19, 2018
Restoration work has yet to be completed, but TM are rerouting traffic away from the affected parts to deliver Internet to everyone. TM has not stated a timeline for the complete restoration of the damaged cables, but they are currently working on it so expect the work to be completed by the end of this week or the next.
Were you affected by the damaged cables? And is your Internet back in full capacity? Let us know!
