WD Releases New Gaming SSD With NVMe Performance

Western Digital, or simply known as WD, has announced of their high performance Western Digital Black 3D NVMe SSD, which features the company’s own SSD architecture and controller.

WD Releases New Gaming SSD With NVMe Performance 30With the brand new Western Digital Black 3D NVMe SSD, it accelerates data for PC applications, enabling users to quick, access, engage, and capture today’s high-resolution video, audio and gaming content.

The M.2 drive features a new NVMe architecture and controller, which optimally integrates with the company’s 3D NAND.

Coming with a sequential read up to 3,400 MB/s for 1TB and 500GB model, and write performance up to 2,800 MB/s, the new drive is ideal for gaming that benefit from acceleration of intensive fast data.

Besides that, the drive feature up to 500,000 random IOPs (for the 1TB model) to deliver extreme throughput, ideal for multi-threaded applications and data-intensive multitasking environments.

It comes with a five-year limited warranty with up to 600TBW endurance (for the 1TB model). They are now available here in Malaysia in capacities of 250GB (RM449), 500GB (RM799), and also 1TB (RM1,599). They will be available by the end of July 2018 in select WD retailers, e-sellers, resellers, system integrators, and distributors.
