It turns out that Xiaomi will be launching their two brand new devices, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 Lite this weekend, where it will take place at four Mi Stores in the country.

It’s been reported that the Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 Lite is coming soon to our shores. Set to arrive this 10th of November, you can purchase them at these four official Mi Stores in the country;

  • Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur
  • Imago, Kota Kinabalu Sabah
  • AEON Bukit Tinggi, Klang
  • Kuantan City Mall, Kuantan

Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro

The Mi 8 Pro comes with a 6.21-inch AMOLED display and packs a Snapdragon 845 chipset. For memory, it comes with either 6GB and 8GB RAM that’s paired with 128GB of internal storage. It comes with a 3000mAh battery under the hood and the phone sports a dual 12MP+12MP camera setup on the rear. As for selfies, it offers a 20MP shooter on the front.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite

Aside from the Mi 8 Pro, Malaysia will also get to see the Mi 8 Lite in the market. For display, it comes with a 6.26-inch LCD display. It comes with a Snapdragon 660 instead and packs either 4GB or 6GB RAM options that’s mated with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

Besides that, the Mi 8 Lite comes with a 3350mAh battery and it also offers a dual camera combo, with a 12MP+5MP setup. On the front, it offers a 24MP shooter.

Pokdepinion: It would be interesting to see how much Xiaomi will price them. In my opinion, Xiaomi has been coming out with many variations of smartphones although some might pack the same chipset, the features is what separates them. In a way, that gives you the option to really choose what you are buying for, and for me that’s good.
