Xiaomi Mi 9 To Come With 48MP Main Lens And 32W Fast Charging?
According to reports, Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 9 will come with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 lens, a secondary 12MP camera as well as a 3D TOF camera.
The phone will reportedly come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 19:9 ratio. Instead of the normal notch that was found in the previous Mi 8, the new device will come with a waterdrop notch instead.
Other than that, the phone will likely be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and 6GB RAM that’s mated with 128GB of internal storage. According to the leak, this variant will be priced at CNY2999, which is roughly RM1,806. An under-display fingerprint sensor will be implemented and it will run on the latest Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10.
Under the hood it packs 3500mAh battery and comes with 32W fast charging. Sadly, there isn’t support for wireless charging according to reports.
Despite all these reported leaks, we should probably take it with a pinch of salt. We should expect to learn more on the Xiaomi Mi 9 at this year’s MWC event. Till then, watch this space.
Pokdepinion: I was more than satisfied with the previous Mi 8, let’s just hope that the new Mi 9 is a certain upgrade and doesn’t disappoint consumers.
