A new character will be added to Street Fighter V via DLC. It’s Zeku the Ninja Master, and he’s not exactly a brand new character either.

Zeku the Ninja Master Announced for Street Fighter V

Capcom has just announced a brand new playable character coming this month in Street Fighter V. He’s known as Zeku the ninja master. Zeku himself isn’t actually a completely new character as he comes from deep down in the story of the Street Fighter series.

As the 38th master of the Bushinryu Ninjutsu school, Zeku appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 2 as Guy’s teacher.  After the conclusion of the training, the 2 characters dueled and upon Guy’s victory, Zeku named him the 39th Bushinryu master. Afterwards, he completely disappeared.

Today marks his return, and apparently he hasn’t lost his rough charm. It would seem that he is ready to form a new fighting school with a brand new fighting style. Interestingly, his second outfit definitely resembles that of Strider Hiryu. Well, it’s Capcom so it isn’t exactly strange.

If you want to see more, you can also check out the upcoming Arcade Edition of the game, that will finally bring back the much requested arcade mode. Of course, there’s some other things coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition so you might want to check that out if you’re not sure what’s happening.

Street Fighter V is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC, while the Arcade Edition will launch on January 16th 2018. If you’re a fan of fighting games or Street Fighter in general, both Zeku and the Arcade Edition might not be something you’d want to miss.

Pokdepinion: Well, more characters are always welcomed, especially when the character roster is kind of lacking. Not that I’m pointing specifically at Street Fighter V, more so of Marvel VS Capcom Infinite. It’s definitely a surprise to see Zeku the Ninja Master back and I’m sure many longtime fans will welcome his arrival with open arms…with Capcom also hoping for open wallets.
