Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Is Samsung’s Most Premium Earbuds Ever

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is the latest true wireless earbuds from the South Korean tech giant following last year’s Samsung Galaxy Buds Live. It was released alongside the new flagship Samsung Galaxy S21 series and features improved sound quality, long-lasting battery, IPX7 water resistance rating, as well as ANC capabilities.

The new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has been designed to be to provide truly holistic and intelligent sound experiences which makes it perfect for work, for play, and for everything else in between.

In terms of its sound, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro utilises a 2-way speaker to give the user a more balanced sound experience. Samsung claims that its 11mm woofer and 6.5mm tweeter gives off the best sound Samsung has ever put in their true wireless earbuds line.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Buds Pro comes equipped with an enhanced 3 microphone system; a Voice Pickup Unit for clearer a voice and a High SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) Mic that prevents potential interferences and background noises that can muffle the voice during a call. There’s also a windshield chamber present that helps in minimising wind noise during calls.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro also feature Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) which Samsung claims can reduce outside up to 99%. The buds can also intelligently switch from ANC to Ambient Sound as well as turn down the music volume when a conversation is going on.

Samsung claims that Galaxy Buds Pro can last of upwards to 18 hours with ANC turned on and 28 hours with ANC turned off. The charging case has a 472mAh battery while the buds themselves feature a 61mAh battery. The earbuds also feature Bluetooth 5.0 connection and support AAC and SBC audio codecs.

How much does the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro cost?

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has a retail price of RM799 and is up for pre-order now. It is available in three different colour variants; Phantom Violet, Phantom Black, and Phantom Silver. That’s not all, Samsung is throwing in a Wireless Charger Pad worth RM239 for customers who pre-order the Galaxy Buds Pro from January 15 to January 21.
