The new device was announced at the company’s October Unleashed event, where they’ve also unveiled the latest MacBook Pro laptops.

Measuring at 3.3-inch, the Apple HomePod mini uses “computational audio” in order to provide rich and detailed 360-degree audio. With them, you can use it with Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, radio stations, and music services such as Pandora, Deezer and more.

Coming with Siri voice assistant support, it allows the speaker to recognize up to six household member’s voices. With it, you can also check on the latest news, weather, traffic, reminders, and the usual stuffs.

There’s also smart home control support too as you can use voice commands for Siri to turn off the lights, change the temperature, plus more.

The price? Well it retails for $99 (~RM411) and is available in yellow, orange, white, space gray, and blue colour variants. Unfortunately, there’s no confirmation on whether it will arrive in Malaysia or not. For more on the latest tech and gaming news plus reviews, stay tuned to Pokde.net.

Pokdepinion: The speaker looks pretty small from the image. Question is, how loud can it get? That’ll be interesting to see, or more precisely hear.
