The new NW700 Sound+ soundbar succeeds their previous MS650 Sound+ and integrates features such as distortion-cancelling, wide-range tweeters, and multi-speaker control. Design wise, it sports a slim and sleek external design, made for wall mounting underneath Samsung’s thin television (well of course it has to come in pairs right?)

It is 53.5mm wide, which is 41% narrower than the previous soundbar model. The soundbar adopts three channels and slim sound technology to deliver dynamic and targeted sound, for an even more immersive listening experience.

Its body also has a built-in subwoofer, taking out the need for an external subwoofer and contribute to a clean, slender design for a home entertainment space.

The distortion-cancelling works by predicting distortion at the end of the speaker movement and making adjustments before the distortion comes to place, resulting in a smoother, distortion-free bass tones.

NW700 Sound+ supports three sound modes that includes; Standard Mode, Surround Mode, and Smart Mode. With the Surround Mode, it is used to expand surround sound performance (well the name of the mode is really a hint), while Smart Mode automatically adjusts volume and surround sound effects.

The NW700 Sound+ joins the Samsung CJ791 Thunderbolt 3 QLED monitor which is also set to be unveiled at CES 2018. Well, if you want to read on about the monitor, you can do so by clicking here to have a look at it.

Pokdepinion: Looks like a great way to save space. Despite that, to fully utilize it, you’d need a mountable-TV as well. Go hard or go home, as they would say. For me, go where my wallet leads me to.
