ASUS has presented their latest lineup of connectivity devices at CES 2018 which features ASUS Lyra Voice, ASUS Lyra Trio, ASUS RT-AX88U and ASUS NovaGo.

Winner of the CES 2018 Innovation award, it is a two-in-one 802.11ac mesh Wi-Fi system and voice assistant with stereo speakers, microphone and comes with integrated Amazon Alexa voice control. Users can utilize and interact with Amazon Alexa by talking to Lyra Voice, allowing them to play music, hear the news, check the weather, control smart-home device, and well, you get the idea.

Lyra Voice is a tri-band, AC2200-class device that communicates with other connected Lyra hubs to provide whole-home coverage without any Wi-Fi deadzones. It can be configured and controlled using the Lyra mobile app.

It features 3×3 MIMO technology and seamless roaming to deliver superior Wi-Fi speeds and connect users automatically to the best signal wherever they are in the home. Lyra Trio also features always-on privacy protection for all connected smart device, ensuring security is up to date.

With the Lyra app, it puts users in control, enabling PC-free setup, network management and diagnostics, as well as notifying network administrator should problem arise.

With a combination of OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology, it provides four times faster throughput than 802.11ac on connected devices in traffic dense environment.

With 802.11ax technology while equipped with 4 powerful antennas, the router provides wide coverage and stable connections. Additionally, the router makes it easy for connectivity in the sense that it has eight Gigabit LAN ports and MU-MIMO for both uplink and downlink communications, making the RT-AX88U the ideal solution for congested environment such as LAN parties, which demand high capacity for both wireless and wired connections.

The router also includes AiProtection and is also compatible with ASUS AiMesh Wi-Fi system for seamless whole-home coverage.

Finally we have the ASUS NovaGo. It is the world’s first Gigabit LTE-capable laptop designed for connected mobility, providing with users with an always-on, connected experience with Windows 10. The laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and features Gigabit Snapdragon X16 LTE modem for lighting-fast download speeds of up to 1Gbps, which is 3X to 7X faster than average broadband speeds.

Battery wise, it has up to 22-hour of battery life with over 30 days of modern standby, and a built-in eSIM or Nano SIM that ensures seamless connectivity.

Pokdepinion: Connectivity wise, you can never go wrong with ASUS. That RT-AX88U looks really sleek and NovaGo has really gotten me intrigued.
