Acer Introduces New Suite Of Business Solutions With Altos Range

Acer Malaysia has today unveiled of a new business solutions in their new Altos range. Interestingly, Malaysia is the first market outside of Taiwan to introduce the range.

Acer Altos QSAN XN3004T Tower 4+1 Bay NAS

First up is the Altos QSAN XN3004T NAS storage solution. It is made for small and medium enterprises that provide businesses the solutions to their computing performance and data storage needs. Thanks to the QSM 3 operating system, it provides a stable and reliable storage management. It comes with USB One Touch Copy Button which allows automatic backup of pendrives and external hard drives to pre-set folders.

With its innovative (N+1) hybrid storage capacity, you can add an additional SSD that imrpoves data access performance without affecting the existing four 3.5-inch hard drive slots. It also comes with a built-in anti-virus for protection.

Equipped with four 2TB HHD, Acer Altos QSAN XN3004T Tower 4+1 Bay NAS is priced from RM4,699 and will be available for purchase at the official Acer online store and select Acer authorized dealers soon.

Acer Altos P Series Workstations

Next is the Acer Altos P series workstations. There’s the Altos P30 F6 that comes with the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processor with NVIDIA Quadro graphics card. Storage wise, it supports up to 64GB RAM and 32TB of internal storage.

If that’s not good enough for you, there’s the Acer Altos P330 F4 which is packed with server-grade Intel Xeon Processor Skylake-W Family and NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics card. It’ll be able to support up to a whopping 512GB RAM.

Other than that, it comes with a 900W power supply and a dual-fan option for increased airflow.

The Acer Altos P30 F6 is priced from RM4,280 onward and the Acer Altos P330 F4 is priced from RM8,799 onwards.

Acer AltosCloud VDI Solution

Last but not least is the Acer AltosCloud VDI (Virtual desktop infrastructure) solution. It allows you to set up your own virtual desktop computing system, doing away with the old computing provisioning models and the challenges that comes with them.

It’s ideal for organizations such as call centers, hospitals, and even library of schools, colleges, and universities. By connecting a keyboard, mouse, and monitor to the Acer Altos TC400 or TC410 and hosting the server through a LAN connection, the set-up is ready to perform like any desktop.

With it, the AltosCloud VDI can access their virtual desktop using a host of access devices such as desktops, PCs, Android phones, and Chromebooks.
