Leaks of the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Gold Edition and AMD Radeon VII Gold Edition were previously floating around the interwebs. Now, we have the official images of the commemorative editions of the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and AMD Radeon VII, which will be available for purchase until 8th April.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Gold Edition

The AMD Ryzen 7 2700X features Dr. Lisa Su’s signature imprinted upon the integrated heatspreader, with a golden AMD50 packaging. Given that the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X is a top-seller for AMD so it does seem fitting that AMD commemorates their 50th anniversary with a special edition of it. The AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Gold Edition is clocked at the same clocks as the regular AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, so you won’t be getting anything special with the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Gold Edition.

AMD will be offering the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Gold Edition for $329 (~RM1361).

AMD Radeon VII Gold Edition

The AMD Radeon VII Gold Edition features a gold AMD50 packaging, but the card itself is vibrant red. There isn’t any mention of specially-binned GPUs for the AMD Radeon VII Gold Edition, so expect the changes to only be skin deep.

The AMD Radeon VII Gold Edition will be priced at $699 (~RM2891).

Gamers who get the Gold Edition products will be eligible for the AMD50 Game Bundle which includes a free PC version of The Division 2 Gold Edition and World War Z. You will also receive an AMD50 sticker signed by Dr. Lisa Su and a coupon to redeem a free AMD 50th Anniversary T-shirt.

Would you get the Gold Edition stuff considering that AMD Ryzen 3000 series and AMD Navi is coming?
