Yes. While you may not foresee using the same power supply for a decade, Corsair is proud to extend the 7 year warranty they are providing right now to a full 10 years. What’s even better is that you as the end user will not need to do anything to enjoy the extended warranty. The extended warranty is granted worldwide and across all eligible PSUs sold to date and on all future sales of the eligible PSUs.

Corsair PSU 10 year warranty

The eligible PSUs are the:

  • AXi Series PSUs launched with a 7 year warranty. Now have a 10 year warranty.
  • HXi Series PSUs launched with a 7 year warranty. Now have a 10 year warranty.
  • RMi Series PSUs launched with a 7 year warranty. Now have a 10 year warranty.
  • RMx Series PSUs launched with a 7 year warranty. Now have a 10 year warranty.

This extension of the warranty period shows the confidence Corsair has in their products. What do you think? Do you have confidence in your Corsair PSU to last you a whole decade?

Pokdepinion: It is an interesting move to extend the warranty period to grant even greater peace of mind to system builders. I wonder how many will actually use the same PSU for a whole decade though.
