Acer Malaysia Officially Launches the PM161Q Portable Monitor

Aside from the two new Acer Aspire laptops and the happenings at Acer Day 2019, Acer Malaysia also introduced another interesting product. It is none other than the Acer PM161Q Portable Monitor, a good secondary display that is both versatile and affordable.

Acer PM161Q Portable Monitor

For those who want to maximize their productivity potential on-the-go, the Acer PM161Q portable monitor is a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with 170° wide-viewing angle. It weighs in a mere 0.97 kg and has a side profile of 2 cm, making it easy to fit in your bags and bring it anywhere with you.

It’s a rather versatile display device as you can easily connect it to your laptop, tablet, or smartphone via USB Type-C. At this point in time, we are uncertain if it can be used to project the Nintendo Switch’s display, but this is something we’ll find out when we get one for review. It can be powered either by USB-C or using an external power source.

Pokdepinion: I want one simply because having a portable secondary monitor is super convenient. That and having a bigger screen for my Nintendo Switch would be great.
