Acer Predator X35 Curved Gaming Monitor Coming Soon At RM9,399
While we were at the Acer Predator Roadshow, the brand’s unveiled a number of eye catching products, and one of them is the new Acer Predator X35 curved monitor. What’s special about it? Here’s the details.
The Acer Predator X35 is the world’s first 35-inch with NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE VESA Certified DisplayHDR. It comes with a 3440 x 1440 UWQHD resolution VA panel.
Coming with a ZeroFrame design, it offers 2ms Grey to Grey response time as well as up to 200Hz (in overclocking mode), ensuring a smooth and fast gameplay without screen tearing and minimal display stutter.
Thanks to its Quantum Dot Technology and a 10-bit display, the Acer Predator X35 is able to deliver 1.07 billion colors in a 90% DCI-P3 standard. It comes with 512 zones direct LED, with up to 1000 nits peak brightness.
Of course, it will also offer RGB goodness with its RGB Light Sense app, offering lights at the back. Basic Sync allows you to choose colors and nine default effects while Music Sync detects rhythm and volume of the music, movie, or game, and alters the lighting and effect accordingly.
The Acer Predator X35 will be available mid of July at a retail price of RM9,399.
In addition to the Predator X35, they’ve also introduced three new Nitro monitors, coming in as more affordable options. These include the Acer Nitro VG271U, Nitro VG270 P and finally the Nitro VG250Y P.
All three of them come with 144Hz refresh rate as well as 1ms response time with Visual Response Boost displays. They also offer Acer Display Widgets that allows you to modify monitor settings without having to fiddle with buttons.
Additionally, they come with AcerVisualCare to help reduce eye strain and provide a more comfortable viewing experience.
In terms of differences, the Nitro VG271U P comes with a 27-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) IPS display with 8bit + FRC, which can deliver up to 1.07 billion colors and 95% DCI-P3 coverage. It is priced at RM1,399.
Featuring a 27-inch FHD IPS display, the new Nitro VG270 P monitor offers 400 nits brightness and HDR 10 support for more details in dark scenes.
Meanwhile its smaller brother, the Nitro VG240Y P comes in with a smaller 23.8-inch FHD IPS display. As for the price, they come with a price tag of RM899 and RM699 respectively.
All three of the new Acer Nitro monitors will be available at the end of July 2019.
