LG Introduces World’s First 1ms IPS Gaming Monitor
With IPS-type monitors, you would usually see them coming with 4ms rates. Now it’s all about to change as LG has unveiled their new LG UltraGearTM Nano IPS NVIDIA, G-SYNC gaming monitors.
They’ve introduced the new 38GL950G and 27GL850 monitors, with them being 38-inch and 27-inch respectively. Both UltraGear Nano IPS monitors features fast 144Hz refresh rate, which is overclockable to 175Hz.
With the 38-inch variant, you’ll get a screen resolution of 3840 x 1600 and it’s 2560 x 1440 for the 27-inch model. As for their color gamut, they offer DCI-P3 98% for vibrant and flicker-free detailed images.
There’s also RGB lighting on the larger variant, which comes with Sphere Lightning 2.0 at the back of the monitor. It also offers support for VESA DisplayHDR 400 and is certified by NVIDIA through over 300 tests for performance and image quality for a great gaming experience.
LG has said that the 38-inch model supports NVIDIA G-SYNC while the smaller brother is a FreeSync monitor but G-SYNC compatible.
The new LG UltraGear Nano IPS gaming laptops are set to roll out next month, with the pre-orders for the 27GL850 starting on July 1st in America.
There’s yet to be confirmation on the availability of the monitors here in Malaysia, as well as their price but we will update once the details come out. Until then, stay tuned to Pokde.net.
